Neil Parish went to Middlemoor HQ on Friday to meet local police chiefs.
Neil met with Alison Hernandez, the locally elected Police & Crime Commissioner, as well as the Rural Crime Officer and Chief Inspector of Roads & Policing. On a busy afternoon, Neil also visited the control room, often featured in the popular show Call the Cops.
The visit to Middlemoor HQ coincided with the welcome announcement that £750 million is being provided for the recruitment of 20,000 new police officers. Neil wanted to find out, direct from frontline police, what their priorities are - and show his support.
Neil will now be campaigning for Devon & Cornwall Police to receive their fair share of the 20,000 new police officers to help fight crime in Tiverton & Honiton.
