Neil was re-elected as the MP for Tiverton and Honiton with 35,471 votes. He increased his share of the vote to 61.4% - up from 54.0 in 2015.
Neil later said:
"It's a great privilege to be re-elected as the MP for Tiverton and Honiton. I will work hard every single day to repay your trust in me.
"From farming to environmental regulations and broadband to local transport upgrades, I will endeavour to hold the Government's feet to the fire on the issues that matter to local people."
