Neil Parish MP questioned whether Ministers would be tackling unfairness in the UK energy market.
Yesterday in the Commons, Neil asked why his constituents in Tiverton and Honiton have to pay so much more for their energy bills simply because of where they have chosen to live. He wanted reassurances that this Conservative Government would take action to stop this.
He was reassured by Claire Perry MP, Minister of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and a fellow South West MP that the Conservatives are keen to take action to stop this.
Neil said: "It was good to hear that £15 billion has been taken out of network costs. We must make sure energy bills are affordable for everyone, especially during our cold winters."
