Neil grills Michael Gove

The new Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee, chaired by Neil, welcomed Secretary of State, Michael Gove, for a 90 minute evidence session on the work of his Department.

MPs quizzed Mr Gove on a host of topics, from air pollution to the ivory trade and fisheries to agriculture payments after Brexit. There was a light-hearted moment when, after a question from Neil about Brexit negotiations, Mr Gove described himself, David Davis and Liam Fox as 'brothers from a different mother'.
