Meeting CLA on Brexit Agricultural Deal

Neil met with President of the Country Land and Business Association (CLA), Ross Murray, in Parliament to discuss securing the best possible deal for British agriculture in the Brexit negotiations.

They discussed the CLA's new series of policies papers, called' New Opportunities', on what steps the Government can take to ease the Brexit transition for farmers and secure their livlihoods in the coming decades. It undermlins the importance of ensuring EU payments to British farmers are ensured right up until the end of 2020 when Britain leaves the EU.
