Neil Parish MP holds Inquiry into Antibiotics, Animal Welfare and Planning

 Neil Parish MP, Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Eggs, Pigs and Poultry, has announced that the Group will be holding oral evidence sessions at the Houses of Parliament as part of an inquiry into the responsible use of antibiotics in livestock farming, the impact of planning regulations on farming and animal welfare issues effecting the eggs, pig and poultry sectors. 

Tiverton Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair Coming Soon!

Neil Parish, MP for Tiverton and Honiton, is holding the Mid Devon Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair on Friday 3rd October at Tiverton High School in association with the National Apprenticeship Service and Jobs Centre Plus. The Jobs fair will help school leavers and job seekers find work and get careers advice to give young people the experience and skills they need to enter the workplace. 

Neil Parish MP welcomes more real jobs in Devon

 Neil Parish MP has welcomed new figures showing that 373 fewer people are claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance in Tiverton and Honiton since 2010, a drop of 41%. This means more people in work, with the security of a regular pay packet and a brighter future ahead of them.  

Neil Parish MP presents cheque to Tiverton Transport Charity

 Neil Parish, Tiverton & Honiton MP, joined Richard Jones Chairman Tiverton Constitutional Club and Philip Gibbs Treasurer Tiverton Constitutional to present a cheque for £720.00 to Faye Ashton, Office Manager of Tiverton and District Community Transport Association, a local charity whose transport services are aimed at increasing the independence, mobility and peace of mind of older and disabled people; helping to combat the problems of loneliness and isolation.
