Neil Parish, MP for Tiverton and Honiton, visited Oakdown Holiday Park in Sidmouth on Saturday morning to meet with business owners Alisdair and Adrianna Franks as part of Tourism Week 2014.
English Tourism Week is a week-long celebration of events showcasing the quality and vibrancy of the visitor experiences and the value our industry brings to our nation.
Speaking on Tourism Week Neil Parish said: “Small businesses like Oakdown are so important to Devon’s economy. Tourism in Devon currently brings £2.3 billion annually to the local economy and supports 68,000 jobs. I want to see it go from strength to strength”.
